Amateur Oenology Home Wine Making Competition - Webster County Fair (Need 2009 Information)
July 12, 2008 3 to 7:30 PM
Entrants are limited to four wines in each class, per household; but each wine must be significantly different in style, taste or ingredients. Entrants must not be affiliated with commercial wine making.

Scenic Rivers Wine Trail
April 19 - 20, 2008
October 18 - 19, 2008
Enjoy the rolling hills and beautiful rivers as you travel along the Scenic Rivers Wine Trail. On your journey you’ll encounter several sites with historic significance as well as some of the most culturally diverse areas of the Midwest. Note: All participants could bring a couple bottles of wine.  Then, we can run the different tests on each bottle of wine. It will be set up in a confidential manner so nobody is embarrassed, but they can learn about sulfur dioxide levels post-bottling, and the inaccuracy of the different tests. This will be an informative course for both veterans and amateur winemakers alike.

The WinePress.US WineFest is a convention geared towards the amateur home wine maker and grape grower as well as the small boutique winery. Educational sessions, wine tastings, wine competition and wine swap are just some of the things you will experience. Registration is limited.
